Sensory Evaluation; Beyond Basics

IFSTSL will be offering the “Sensory Evaluation: Beyond Basics” course once again in 2025. The course is designed to advance the knowledge and practical application of sensory science, with a focus on experimental design, statistical test methods, and industry relevance.

The course will be conducted online over 10 sessions, starting on 21st June 2025, with classes held every Saturday from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm (Sri Lankan Time).

This course will cover the below topics by our experts in the field:

  • Sensory Perception, Quality Attributes
  • Conduct of Sensory Evaluations and Managing Sensory Panels
  • Sensory Test Methods – Discrimination, Descriptive, Acceptance
  • Good Laboratory Practices & Controlling Sensory Investigations & Applications
  • Analysis & Interpretation of Sensory Data
  • Practical Guidance on Planning and Organizing Sensory Evaluation
